Volunteer Opportunities for BAU Students
Please check the event calendar to find volunteer opportunities in DMV area which will be organized by BAU students. All BAU students are welcome to take one or more of these volunteer opportunities.
681 DC Residents Sleep Outside Each Night Unsheltered: Bay Atlantic University Students Host the #BAUforDCCoalitionofHomeless Clothing Drive for D.C. Coalition for the Homeless to help those in need.
The #BAUforDCCoalitionofHomeless clothing drive will start on November 01, 2021, to November 05, 2021, from 9:00, am – 5:00 pm at Bay Atlantic University, 1510 H St NW, Washington, DC 20005; on the third floor, there will be an opportunity for BAU students and staff to donate. Upon collection, BAU students will distribute clothes on November 21 at D.C. Coalition for The Homeless Center.

BAU students will collect donations from October 20th – 27th at BAU, 1510 H St, Washington DC, 4th-floor student lounge area. The team will drop off donations to DCPS on November 10 for students in need.
Toxic Contaminants impair 82% of the Chesapeake Bay: Bay Atlantic students set to clean up the Bay in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation
On November 5, 2021, from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. on Friday, a field trip is set for BAU students to go to the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center, 600 Discovery Ln, Grasonville, MD 21638, for a tour and to clean up the Bay.
Bay Atlantic University students are honored to have the opportunity to coordinate a volunteer effort to help support the Afghanistan Youth Relief Foundation efforts on October 26 by moving and sorting boxes. Also, BAU students secured a donation for the foundation from Walmart for essential supplies. BAU students Ehsanullah Nasiree, Anu- Ujin Oyungerel, Jankeh Phatty, and Betiel Andemariam, the mission is to support the Afghanistan Youth Relief Foundation by recruiting volunteers to lend a hand for the day on October 26, 2021, from 2.00 pm to 4:00 pm at 4425 Brookfield Corporate Drive Suite 600 Chantilly, VA 2015, if interested in attending, please send an email to [email protected] or call at 240-224-5200.
