DMV APPLICANTS TUITION ASSISTANCE
According to a 2018 CNBC publication, 70% of US college students graduate with a significant amount of debt, and collectively hold about $1.5 trillion in student loans. Bay Atlantic University believes in high-quality, affordable education, and wants to be part of the solution towards debt-free education.
As part of our ongoing “Debt-Free Education” initiative, we are proud to offer substantial tuition assistance to qualified students in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.
Current DMV Tuition Assistance (Valid Until Spring 2026):
Eligible applicants receive over 60% off tuition, with discounted per-credit rates as follows:
- For DC, Virginia, Maryland residents: $400 per credit in the undergraduate level and $750 per credit in the graduate level
- For all other eligible U.S. residents: $325 per credit in the undergraduate level and $635 per credit in the graduate level
⚠️ Note: Beginning Spring 2026, DMV Tuition Assistance will transition to a GPA-based percentage system. Details below.

Essays should be 500–750 words, double-spaced, in 12pt Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins.
📌 What’s Changing in Spring 2026?
- Tier 1: 60% Tuition Assistance. Eligibility: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Tier 2: 55% Tuition Assistance. Eligibility: Cumulative GPA between 2.75 and 2.99
- Tier 3: 50% Tuition Assistance. Eligibility: Cumulative GPA between 2.50 and 2.74
- New Generation Award: 25% Tuition Assistance. Automatically applied to all students, including those with a CGPA below 2.50
