Speaking about the project, Ms. Walters-Gilliam commented, “Black women face tremendous adversity, both in the business world and in their day-to-day lives – One Million Black Women is working to change that. Goldman Sachs is not simply making a contribution; this is truly an investment that will create critical opportunities and drive the economy while fighting the wealth and wage gaps faced by Black women. This is a cause I care deeply about, and I am proud to have been invited to join this project as a scholar.”
