Bay Atlantic University is opening its doors to a record number of new students in the Fall 2024 semester. The number of new enrollees who have begun their studies at BAU this Fall increased by 55% compared to last Fall, representing the largest cohort in the school’s history. This significant mark is being set during BAU’s 10th Anniversary, a year full of celebrations and successes of the past decade.
BAU’s President, Dr. Sinem Vatanartiran, has been among the first to welcome these new students to Washington, D.C. “I hope everyone is excited for the new academic year, and I am especially happy to see so many new students joining us from around the world. I am confident they will enjoy their time at Bay Atlantic University and will achieve their academic potential.”
Dr. Sinem also expressed her pride about the university’s growth in recent years: “At BAU, we strive to provide students with a high-quality, relevant, and valuable education that will prepare them for a lifetime of success. Having so many students eager to study with us is a clear indication that our faculty, staff, and university community are meeting this goal.”
Bay Atlantic University’s new School of Information Sciences and Engineering is playing a key role in this semester’s record-setting enrollment. For the first time, students at BAU are pursuing degrees in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, and Cloud Computing Engineering, each of which will ensure students are ready to thrive in the modern business and technology environment. With so many new faces and opportunities, Fall 2024 is shaping up to be a memorable term!
