Bay Atlantic University (BAU) is proud to announce that its students competed in the prestigious annual Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges: Eastern Alliance (CCSC:EA) 2025 conference. Our teams showcased their skills in both the Collegiate Programming Contest and the Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) competition.
The regional event, which brought together top computer science students from across the eastern United States, was held on-site at Arcadia University on October 24 and 25, 2025.
BAU’s team participated in two main events. On Friday, the cybersecurity team faced a fast-paced “Capture The Flag” challenge hosted by the Virginia Cyber Range. This is a high-stakes event where teams must solve complex, real-world cybersecurity puzzles in a live, competitive environment.
On Saturday, BAU’s programming team competed in the CCSC-Eastern Collegiate Programming Contest. In this three-hour event, teams of students raced against the clock – and each other – to solve a series of complex algorithmic problems using Python, Java, or C++.
This conference represents a significant opportunity for our students to apply their classroom knowledge, benchmark their abilities against peers from other top institutions, and represent Bay Atlantic University on a regional stage.
