The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representative body for BAU students. We advocate for student interests, promote cultural diversity, and foster collaboration between students, faculty, and administration. Through events, initiatives, and committee work, SGA strives to create an inclusive and engaging campus environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

SGA advocates for the interests and well-being of all BAU students. We serve as your voice on campus, empowering you academically, socially, and personally.

Yabsira Kuraz is a senior Political Science and International Relations student at Bay Atlantic University, minoring in Business. Born and raised in Ethiopia, she brings a global perspective to her academic and leadership endeavors. She is the founding president of the Student Government Association at Bay Atlantic University and serves as the secretary of the Africa Connect Association.

Beatriz Conto is a senior MBA student at Bay Atlantic University with a strong background in marketing and event coordination. Originally from Colombia, she serves as the Vice President of the Student Government Association, where she focuses on student engagement, leadership, and creating opportunities that enhance the academic and cultural experience at BAU.

Siva Abishikth Mylavarapu is a graduate student in Artificial Intelligence at Bay Atlantic University and a driven technologist with experience in front-end development, project management, and academic mentoring. His portfolio includes education platforms, AI-based research in agriculture, and student leadership. With a passion for building digital solutions that uplift communities, Siva is focused on leveraging technology for meaningful, real-world impact.

Sibanda Nomathamsanqa leads the GPI Africa Connect – BAU Chapter with passion and purpose. As the President, she sets the vision, strengthens partnerships, and ensures our chapter thrives through impactful programs and events. Her leadership keeps us focused and inspired every step of the way.
