As January draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements of 2024 and share the energy and optimism that 2025 has already brought to Bay Atlantic University. Building on the successes of the past year, we are stepping into 2025 with renewed purpose and enthusiasm. This year has already been marked by inspiring milestones, new initiatives, and exciting opportunities to welcome more members into our Dolphin family.

From field trips and networking sessions to social gatherings, we have already begun building the foundations of an exciting and enriching spring semester.
Community Spirit
The unwavering support of the BAU community has been instrumental in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring our new students feel at home as they embark on their academic journeys.
Reflecting on 2024:
- Enrollment Milestone: We celebrated a 26% increase in new student enrollment, with representation from 40 countries, a testament to our commitment to global diversity.
- Innovation in Academics: The establishment of the School of Information Sciences and Engineering, coupled with strategic faculty appointments and advanced resources.
- Global Collaboration Expansion: New partnerships with institutions worldwide strengthened BAU’s mission of fostering international understanding and cooperation, with an expanded network across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
- Bridging Academia and Practice: Through Coursera, BAU has offered free access to professional certificates, while its global internship network provided students with hands-on, real-world experience.
As we move forward, we are eager to embrace the opportunities that 2025 holds, including the highly anticipated launch of the Master of Science in Data Science and Public Policy program. Together, we will continue to strive for academic and professional excellence, solidifying our standing as a global university committed to shaping future leaders.
