Washington, D.C. – April 24, 2025 – Students, faculty, and staff at Bay Atlantic University gathered on Thursday afternoon for an engaging and insightful workshop on developing an Entrepreneurship Mindset, led by Mr. Oscar Csibi, Assistant Professor of International Management at Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) and Doctoral Researcher at Université Côte d’Azur.
Hosted in partnership with the BAU Business and Economics Departments, the one-hour session provided attendees with a global perspective on entrepreneurship, emphasizing both practical strategies and personal mindset shifts. Drawing from over 15 years of international B2B experience and his current academic research, Mr. Csibi encouraged participants to think beyond traditional business models and embrace responsible, sustainable innovation.
“Entrepreneurship goes beyond launching startups,” Csibi explained. “It means developing a mindset that helps you lead, adapt, and create value in any environment.”
The workshop touched on key themes such as internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the importance of sustainability in business strategy, and the value of cross-cultural competence in global markets. Csibi’s ability to blend academic insight with real-world examples made the session accessible and inspiring.
Attendees were especially engaged by his practical insights on spotting opportunities and navigating entrepreneurial risk. Business student Camila T. commented, “He didn’t just talk theory. He showed us how to think differently and take initiative.”
The session closed with a Q&A, during which Mr. Csibi encouraged students to stay curious and take ownership of their career paths. For many, it was a motivating reminder of the power of mindset in shaping professional journeys.
BAU looks forward to future collaborations that bring global expertise to the classroom and empower students to become forward-thinking leaders.
