Bay Atlantic University (BAU) is proud to announce the official approval of its new Master of Science in Data Science and Public Policy program, effective immediately. Enrollment for the program will begin as early as Summer 2025. The Master of Science in Data Science and Public Policy program is a groundbreaking collaboration between the Department of Political Science and the Department of Information Sciences. By merging the power of data science with a deep understanding of public policy, this program will equip students with the knowledge and skills to address and influence some of the most pressing challenges facing society today.

The STEM-designated program will provide students with both a deep understanding of data science techniques and a solid foundation in policy analysis. Students will engage in hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving, developing expertise to analyze large datasets and apply those insights to public policy challenges in areas such as healthcare, climate change, social justice, and economic development.
