APRIL 13, 2017 — The Global Policy Institute, BAU’s affiliated think tank, hosted a panel on the upcoming French Elections today. Guest experts Jean Francois Boittin, Joseph Bahout, Michele Langevine Leiby, and BAU professor and GPI President Paolo von Schirach debated major issues related to the election and engaged in discussion with the audience. Topics covered included the potential success of Marine LePen and the French populist movement; the impact of immigration on the election results; and the declining influence of major political parties in France.
