Supporting Student Pathways: Turkish Exchange Event
We recently hosted our Turkish Exchange Student Event, creating a vibrant and engaging space where students came together to share experiences, build connections, and feel part of the BAU community. Through interactive activities and engaging conversations, participants gained a deeper understanding of the opportunities available to them as full-time BAU students.
The session also introduced students to life in Washington, D.C., highlighting the academic, professional, and cultural opportunities available throughout the region. In addition, students gained valuable insights on Summer and Fall 2026 planning, key immigration timelines, and academic pathways, equipping them with the confidence and guidance needed for their next steps.

BAU Impact Beyond Campus
As the month drew to a close, our students had the opportunity to volunteer with Martha’s Table, supporting their mission to strengthen the D.C. community through access to healthy food and essential resources. During their time on-site, students assisted with sorting and organizing donations, preparing grocery packages, and helping distribute food to local families.
Beyond the hands-on work, this experience allowed our students to engage directly with the community, gain a deeper understanding of food access initiatives, and see the real impact of service in action.
