As part of the ongoing celebrations for its 10th Year Anniversary, Bay Atlantic University and its President, Dr. Sinem Vatanartiran, announced a Presidential Award totaling $200,000 in student scholarships for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester. 140 current BAU students have been awarded up to $2,000 in scholarships, with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) used to determine the award winners and amounts.
Dr. Vatanartiran expressed great excitement about the opportunity to give this award. “The 10th Year Presidential Award reflects Bay Atlantic University’s ongoing commitment to providing quality education at affordable prices. This has been integral to our mission since our founding 10 years ago.” She also expressed her pride in the talented BAU students who will be receiving the award, saying, “It is so important to recognize and reward academic achievement. I sincerely hope that by alleviating some financial burden, we will enable these students to attain even greater success, both inside and outside the classroom.”
Arya Sathwara is one student who will be receiving a 10th Year Presidential Award. The rising sophomore, who is pursuing a B.S. degree in Information Technology, said, “I am really very happy to be awarded the Presidential Award. This is an amazing opportunity. It not only provides financial relief but also inspires me to excel further in my studies. I’m thankful to the University for believing in my potential.”
