Bay Atlantic University’s Career Development programming is set to expand significantly in the coming weeks. BAU has signed a contract with online course provider Coursera and will soon be launching the BAU Career Academy and BAU Professional Development Courses. Through this agreement, students and faculty will have access to various industry-focused certificates and courses, all taught by global leaders in business and education. All of this will be offered to the BAU community at no cost, making it easier than ever to learn new skills and strive for career readiness.
BAU’s Career Academy will allow for multiple types of interactive learning. Students can take courses ranging from a few hours to a few months in length in a wide variety of subject areas. These courses are taught by top industry leaders, such as Google, Meta, IBM, and Intuit. Upon completion of their respective courses, students will receive a professional certificate from that organization, perfect to include on a résumé or discuss in a job interview.
BAU Professional Development Courses will offer another way for students to learn and grow. These courses include 6,900+ cutting edge online classes, taught by 275+ of the world’s leading universities and companies. Courses range from a few hours to a few months in length in a wide variety of subject areas. Learners can also work through guided projects in as little as two hours in areas like Salesforce and Tableau. Either way, learning is done at the time and pace that the student is comfortable with.
Bay Atlantic University’s new certificate programs and online courses in partnership with Coursera will be available to students and faculty in early 2024.
