The BAU Dolphins, Bay Atlantic University’s student soccer team, is set to make its debut this Fall in the District Sports soccer league. District Sports is the Washington, D.C. area’s preeminent adult soccer organization, offering both recreational and competitive leagues and tournaments for soccer veterans and rookies alike. By joining District Sports, the BAU Dolphins will have the opportunity to show off their soccer skills against strong competition while also getting to explore the city and grow as a team.
The formation of the BAU Dolphins comes alongside the announcement of a new partnership between Bay Atlantic University and District Sports. Linh Truong, BAU’s Director of Marketing, orchestrated this partnership and is looking forward to new possibilities available to the university and its students in the future: “BAU has experienced tremendous growth in the past year, so we are excited to increase our footprint in the DMV area and expand our community involvement. The BAU Dolphins members will have a lot of fun embracing the D.C. spirit through friendly competition, and I can’t wait to watch them take the field to represent our entire BAU community!”
