Anqa Hidayat is not one to stand by the wayside when she sees injustice happening. Originally from Afghanistan, Anqa has used her writing as a tool to bring attention to women’s rights in her home country. By raising awareness and expressing concern for the inequality she has seen and experienced, she makes a bold statement in support of equal rights. Now, Anqa is furthering her education, studying Political Science and International Relations at Bay Atlantic University. By earning her degree, she will be able to access new opportunities to be a difference-maker, bringing about change and fighting for a cause she cares deeply about.
