This Month at BAU
BAU Joins the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area
BAU is now a member of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area. This partnership connects our university with leading institutions across the region, opening the door to shared resources, cross-registration opportunities, and academic collaboration. For students, it means a wider network of learning options and stronger ties to the academic community that defines Washington, DC.
A Proud Partner of DevFest DC 2026
BAU is a proud partner of DevFest DC 2026. As one of the region’s most anticipated technology gatherings, DevFest brings together developers, students, and industry professionals to explore what’s next in tech. The partnership gives BAU students direct access to the ideas and people shaping the field, exactly the kind of exposure that turns classroom learning into career momentum.
Our Biggest New Student Orientation Yet
This month, BAU welcomed its largest in coming class through New Student Orientation. New students met faculty, connected with peers, and got their first real sense of what campus life offers. The turnout speaks to something simple: more students are choosing BAU to build their futures.
University Day
University Day brought the BAU community together to celebrate who we are and what we do. It was a chance to reconnect, welcome newcomers, and set the tone for the semester ahead.

Standing With Colombia
BAU has partnered with the DMV community and Colombia to support those affected by the devastating earthquake there. This effort reflects a value at the core of who we are: a global community that shows up for one another in difficult moments. We’re grateful to everyone contributing to the relief effort and standing alongside the people of Colombia.
