Practical experience in your major can lead to a job!
Our Career Services department provides advising, as well as career resources. We make available to you different ways to search for jobs, internships, and other employment opportunities. We have made arrangements with some of the top employment/internship driven organizations to provide BAU students with high quality resources when it comes to seek internships or employment opportunities. Also, there are partners organizations in our network that provide support to prepare students for job interviews, how to write eye-catching resumes, how to effectively search for online jobs, etc.
In addition, and whenever possible, the Career Services department also sponsors workshops, in which the goal is to place students in internships and help them find rewarding employment. We bring potential employers onto campus, host job fairs, and offer sponsored student trips to employers and organizations. BAU’s Career Services department is constantly expanding a network of partners to assist students in their transition to the workforce. The department also sends regularly updated job opportunities directly to students via email.
Below, you will find the names of three major organizations with whom BAU has reached agreements for our students to use their resources, free-of-charge for you. You will be able to see very detailed information on how to use and take advantage of these services by following the links to those pages.
Bay Atlantic University has an agreement with Handshake, providing an outstanding opportunity for our students to connect directly with employers. You will also have the opportunity to learn about activities such as career-related events and workshops.
We are very proud to be one of the more than 1,100 colleges and universities that have partnered with Handshake to help their students find great jobs. Handshake’s network has more than 7 million of active students-users, and over 500,000 employers, including all the Fortune 500 companies.

3. Apply to the right jobs for you. Learn about jobs and employers through student reviews and exclusive virtual events. Apply in as little as two clicks.
At Handshake you will also be able to receive direct messages from employers about new jobs and events or connect with alumni and other employees at organizations that interest you.

AfterCollege has become the largest career network for college students and recent graduates. Featuring 400,000 entry-level jobs and internships from 25,000+ employers, AfterCollege reaches more than 5,000,000 students each year at over 2,000 colleges and universities. It utilizes a program discovery tool called Explore, which uses machine learning to present students with relevant jobs and internships. Users can refine their job feed by giving feedback on job titles, job categories, companies, and locations. Saying “no” is as powerful as saying “yes,” and the more feedback students provide, the better suited our job suggestions will be to their preferences.
