FISCAL POLICIES & PROCEDURES

This publication contains policies and procedures related to financial transactions and the appropriate use of Bay Atlantic University (BAU) resources which are applicable to all University employees and officials, and any representatives of the University authorized to conduct official University Business. These Policies and Procedures govern any transaction of any kind and in any medium that involves the commitment or expenditure of BAU monies or resources. These Policies and Procedures are intended to be implemented in concert with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, the Board Bylaws, and all applicable University policies. Wherever possible, any conflict between these Policies and Procedures and any state or federal law and regulation, Bylaws, or applicable University policy, should be harmonized.

Public Disclosure of Tax-Exempt Documents

In accordance with IRS regulations, Bay Atlantic University, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, makes available for public inspection its tax-exempt status application (Form 1023) and its most recent annual information returns (Form 990).
