Then came COVID. Rather than retrench, BAU expanded. 

The university received its first state-funded grant through the Department of Employment Services (DOES) in 2020. Since then, total grants awarded across multiple programs have reached up to $2,000,000 — a direct reflection of BAU’s commitment to workforce development and community impact. 

BAU also integrated Mentora College‘s ESL program as a degree pathway, launched student housing, and pivoted its academic portfolio toward the fields shaping the next economy — cybersecurity, big data, software engineering, cloud computing, and AI.
