Age & Non-Traditional Students
An university education is for anyone, regardless of the age of the student. Some students may enroll right after high school and some may wait till later in life. Whether you are returning or starting anew, BAU is a place for you! Our Non-Traditional students are one of the strongest and unique groups in our student body.
What is a Non-Traditional Student?
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) defines Non-Traditional students through several ways. The most common are: (1) they did not immediately enroll in higher education after completing high school; (2) they are not between the ages of 18-22 years of age; (3) they do not live on campus; (4) and have established responsibilities with current careers and/or family.
Support for Non-Traditional Students
