DUAL ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Step 1: Online Application
OSSE Dual Enrollment Option:
Students must first apply to OSSE through their current school. Once approved by OSSE, they will begin the application process with Bay Atlantic University.

Step 2: Documents
OSSE Dual Enrollment Option:
To be considered for the OSSE Dual Enrollment Program at Bay Atlantic University (BAU), applicants must submit the following documents:
- A complete Bay Atlantic University Dual Enrollment Application through OSSE or DCPS

High school transcripts showing a minimum GPA of 2.5

Personal statement essay explaining your interest in the program
- Counselor or Principal Recommendation Form

BAU Intent to Enroll Form (provided by OSSE)
Additional Requirements for Adult Learners from DC Public Charter Schools:

Submit GED Ready scores or SAT/GRE/GMAT test results
International Dual Enrollment Option:
International high school students can take bachelor’s courses and earn credits through our Dual Enrollment Program. To be considered for the International Dual Enrollment Program at Bay Atlantic University (BAU), applicants must submit the following documents:

High school transcripts showing a minimum GPA of 2.5

Government-Issued ID: For international students, a passport is required, and it must be valid for at least six months beyond the application date.

Proof of English Proficiency (*Waived if Medium of Instruction was English): Applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency. This requirement is waived if you submit a Medium of Instruction in English document from your previous institution. Find more details on this requirement here.

Step 3: Evaluation
Once you submit your application, the evaluation process takes 2–3 business days.
Step 4: Admission
Once all required documents are reviewed and approved, an official admission letter will be sent to you through your email.
Step 5: Tuition Deposit (For International Dual Enrollment Students)
Upon admission to Bay Atlantic University, you must submit a non-refundable $1500 tuition deposit, which will be applied toward tuition.
Step 6: Orientation
Students are required to attend a mandatory Orientation, during which they will complete the registration requirements and select their courses.
