STUDENT POPULATION

Consistent with our mission, a diverse student body is represented and supported by providing a safe environment so our students can enhance and achieve academic potential. BAU serves 230 degree-seeking and 415 non-degree (ESL) students. Of the degree-seeking students, 42 are domestic and 188 are international representing 46 countries from five different regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East). Non-degree students come from 32 different countries. This student body exemplifies “diversity”, one of the core values of BAU.

At the undergraduate programs, 47% of degree-seeking students are traditional students aged 21 or under, with only 4 students over the age of 40; with male students accounting for 47% and female students 49%.

At the graduate level, 46% of students are between the ages of 25 and 29, 29% are between the ages of 30 and 49, and 24% are between the ages of 20 and 24.
