Bay Atlantic University honors the Class of 2024 with Commencement Ceremony
On Friday, Bay Atlantic University celebrated its graduating class with a Commencement Ceremony. The graduates represented every academic program at BAU, and they were joined at the event by hundreds of family, friends, and loved ones as well as BAU’s faculty and staff. The ceremony was held in the Ballroom of the historic National Press Club, just a few blocks from BAU’s downtown Washington, D.C. campus, and was a key element of BAU’s 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations.
Janice Tagoe, Valedictorian of the Class of 2024, spoke at the Commencement. Ms. Tagoe, who graduated summa cum laude with a M.S. in Big Data Analytics, encouraged her fellow graduates to look forward with excitement to the future, but also to take the time to express gratitude and reflect fondly about their time at BAU:
Throughout our time at Bay Atlantic University, we have been blessed with opportunities to grow intellectually, socially, and personally. We have engaged in thought-provoking discussions, collaborated on projects that pushed the boundaries of innovation, and forged lifelong friendships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. These experiences have not only enriched our academic journey but have also shaped us into the well-rounded individuals we are today.
As we stand on the brink of new beginnings, let us not forget the invaluable lessons we have learned along the way. Let us remember the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity, the power of empathy in building meaningful connections, and the significance of integrity in all our endeavors. These values, instilled in us during our time at Bay Atlantic University, will serve as guiding principles as we navigate the complexities of the world beyond these hallowed halls.
Bay Atlantic University is extremely proud of Janice and all of our graduates, and we can’t wait to see what they will be able to accomplish in the future.
