The Winner is here! BAU Virtual New Product Management Launch Competition

BAU’s Innovative vision continues with introduction of BAU Virtual New Product Management Launch Competition! This competition was initiated by our faculty, Dr. Christopher Bennett who teaches “New Product Management Course” in our MBA Program. The aim of this competition is to get our MBA students thinking and getting creative to adapt the world with pandemic. Seven judges will select the most innovative team of MBA students and their new products / services which will make our lives easier in response to COVID-19.
The winner team has been announced! Team mFash will be awarded with a $1,000 check and a discounted rate from the Entrepreneurship Center, co-working space of the Bay Atlantic University, BAUWorks. Congrats team members Enkhtsetseg Boldbaatar, Maria Rivero Lopez, Megan L. Rosario, and Sinem Ozturk! mFash features an app that helps online shopping by sizing, customizing, a digital fitting room and supporting local designers during these corona virus days which we can’t go shopping in-person.
Seven Teams of MBA students have created new product/service concepts, adapted them in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, and posted short business cases and launch plans on web pages.

1. Green Zone – Managed Airport Services for Mongolia

3. mFash – Mobile fashion

(Team members: Enkhtsetseg Boldbaatar, Maria Rivero Lopez, Megan L. Rosario, and Sinem Ozturk)

4. Nutrithings – Concierge nutrition and wellness

(Team members: Yasemin Yakar, Gunel Allahverdiyeva, Fabiane Goncalves)

5. N. U. T. S. – Smart elevators for the disabled

(Team members: Nurbek Darbishev, Temuulen Tseesuren, Ulziibayar Uranchimeg)

6. School for Life – Environmentally friendly and circular economy sourced school construction for developing countries

(Team members: Carla, Francisco, Mayte)

7. The Washingtonians – Drone powered health care solutions and systems

(Team members: Akram, Shahriyar, Yusuf)
