The bets are paying off. Enrollment is growing steadily, and student success and persistence rates now exceed national averages.
BAU students distinguish themselves on regional and national stages — winning awards at industry challenges including the Agentic AI Hackathon at DevFest DC and Cisco/World Wide Technology Discovery Week. Behind those results are students from more than 40 countries, many the first in their families to pursue a college degree.
The institution’s standing has expanded alongside its students. Recent recognition includes:

The physical campus grew with the mission. Facilities expanded from 53,000 to over 83,000 square feet, including a student housing complex with capacity for 145 residents. BAU launched the School of Information Science and Engineering (SISE), introduced programs in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Cloud Computing Engineering, and Data Science & Public Policy, and forged academic partnerships across the globe — including the DIVERSE Alliance Consortium, a network of 12 European universities across 11 countries.
Through dual enrollment programs, local grants, and community initiatives, BAU continues to shape both its students and the world around them.
